Australian esports organisation The Chiefs Esports Club has announced a partnership with battery manufacturer Energizer.
As a result, the manufacturer will become the official battery partner of the organisation.
The two parties will collaborate on a range of activations. This includes the operation of community tournaments to grow grassroots esports in Australia. Alongside the activations, Energizer’s logo will now appear on the organisation’s jersey.
Nick Bobir, CEO at Chiefs Esports, spoke on the deal in a release: “Being the first esports team in the region to work with a brand like Energizer is incredible. The partnership has opened up opportunities for us to power up our content and has put us in a position to carry the brand onto the esports and gaming stage.
“We really want to push boundaries with a partnership like this, the team and I are excited to start sharing that work.”
Marianne Arenas, Head of Marketing at Energizer ANZ, also commented: “We’re thrilled to join the Chiefs as the team’s official battery, bringing two leading brands together who value power and high-quality performance.
“This partnership is key in making our brand relevant to more consumers across ANZ. Connecting and engaging with people who share a love for gaming and who also know that Energizer is there to provide power & performance when they need it the most.”
