Five lots have been added to the Tattersalls August Sale as wildcards headed by the exciting 2-year-old filly Almohandesah. The winning daughter of Postponed is officially rated 87 following her most recent fifth in the group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket behind Majestic Glory . The Karl Burke trained filly is from the first crop of Postponed, the four-time group 1 winning son of Dubawi whose victories included the Juddmonte International and Coronation Cup. Cataloged as Lot 190A, Almohandesah is out of the Exceed And Excel mare Chocolate Hills, from the direct family of champions Royal Applause and Lyric Fantasy and will be consigned from Burke’s Spigot Lodge Stables.
Nigel Tinkler will consign the 3-year-old Night On Earth from his Woodland Stables base in North Yorkshire. Cataloged as Lot 190B, the son of Kodiac has won on three occasions including his most recent start at Chester and has a current ‘Timeform’ rating of 88.
Trainer Mick Channon will consign three additional lots from his West Ilsley Stables with the group-winning Trais Fluors leading the way. The 7-year-old son of Dansili , who won as recently as June, has a Timeform rating of 101 and will be offered as Lot 190C. He will be joined by Chelms Prince and Chelms Princess, a 2-year-old colt, and filly by Heeraat and Gregorian respectively.
The Tattersalls August Sale takes place on August 31 and September 1 and features 463 Lots in total. The sale starts at 11am on each day. Catalogs are available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives and online at www.tattersalls.com.
