Cardi B Wears Pastel Yellow-Green Wig With Matching Boots — See Photos

If Cardi B isn’t switching her wig every other day, something has to be wrong. It truly does feel like every time we turn, she’s popping out in a brand new color, style, or texture. (Trust, we aren’t complaining.) In true Cardi fashion, on August 9, she debuted a new unit in a unique pastel green shade that we’ve never seen on her before.

This new hair color is so unique that it’s almost impossible to fully describe the shade. It’s definitely a pastel hue — but whether it’s green, yellow, or some interesting mixture of both, we’ll let you decide. Regardless, we’re living for this, um, tennis-ball-colored wig. Stylist Kollin Carter paired the unit with a little black dress and Bottega Veneta’s Tire Boots in Black Seagrass, which has yellow-green soles that almost match the exact color of the wig. The unit was colored and installed by the very talented hairstylist and wig slayer Tokyo Stylez, who used hair from Hair So Fab.

Stylez added the perfect amount of layers to this long wig. The whole look is definitely giving us Aaliyah vibes with a more modern take due to the bright hair color. The unit looks sleek and straight with a slight bump on the end that makes the blunt layers look even better. Though Cardi B is a millennial, she’s clearly Team Middle Part with this style.

Whether you choose to call this a pastel yellow-green or a light green-yellow wig, this unique shade truly is eye-catching. It makes us wonder what other hues and styles she and Stylez are waiting to debut. Until then, we’ll be keeping our eyes open to see who tries to imitate this distinctive shade next.
