American Carissa Moore DOMINATES For World’s First Surfing Gold Medal

How fitting is it that a Hawaiian woman is the first to win a gold medal in surfing’s debut at the Tokyo Olympics? Pretty nice considering Hawaii is the birthplace of surfing. Carissa Moore dominated South Africa’s Bianca Buitendag in the gold medal match with an impressive performance.

She will hopefully get free coffee, drinks, tacos, and weed (I’m assuming she partakes considering she’s a surfer…) for the rest of her life, and I’m extremely jealous.

I mean it’s gotta be sweet to say you’re an Olympic gold medalist in any sport, but to claim you’re the first ever gold medalist surfer is top tier radness.
