The colt, trained by Brad Cox, has a 2-3-1 record from seven starts, which include two runner-up finishes in stakes, and has earned $134,262 for owner Rupp Racing.
Gagetown’s win enhances a family already rich in black-type performers. Betty’s Solutions is the dam of Mother Goose Stakes (G1) winner Include Betty (by Include ), grade 1-placed winner Blonde Fog (Divine Park ), and English stakes-placed winner Francesca d’Gorgio (Proud Citizen ), who is the dam of group 1-placed stakes winner Amazonas .
Betty’s Solutions has produced 10 winners from 11 starters. She has a yearling colt by Always Dreaming that McMahon & Hill Bloodstock bought for $50,000 during the this year’s Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale out of Bedouin Bloodstock’s consignment.
