Djokovic loses the point and SPITS towards Berrettini's point!

Novak Djokovic showed a very robotic tennis against Matteo Berrettini: the Serb world no.1 qualified for the semifinal of the Roland Garros 2021 by beating the Italian in straight sets. Now Nole will challenge his rival Rafael Nadal in the semifinal of the Parisian Slam.

During the first set of the match against Berrettini, the Serbian slipped on a banana skin, as after a good point of the Italian tennis player, and he let himself go to a gesture that should never be seen on a sport court.

But it’snet the first time that Djokovic made a controversial gesture. The world no.1 spat in the direction of the winning shot scored by the Italian, presumably taken by a moment of frustration, for the failed chance to close the game.

Cameras immortalized the scene and attracted not only the fans, who on social media have widely criticized what happened with many messages against him, but also the commentators of Eurosport, who said: “These are things that are not done, it would deserve a penalty.”
